I just installed new front door speakers a while ago and now the right one pops when the door is closed. Not all the time though. Sometimes when the music is loud, sometimes its not, sometimes it doesn’t pop at all. But it never pops when the door is open. Only when it’s closed.

Sounds like there is a short in the wires

Do you mean at the instant it is closed or all the time when it is closed? Are these the original speakers? Or after market? If they are after market, there is probably a bare spot in the wire, or it is caught in a moving part of the door. I have seen people run wire for new speakers across a door jamb. You would have to take the speaker out, or the door panel off and inspect the wiring.
update: OK, I would start by checking the wires, could be a loose connection, or a bare wire touching ground.

sounds like a short in the wire (could be where the hinges are) from too much of the same repeated movement (opening and closing of the door over time)
