Ok so I keep getting random pop ups while my internet is closed, and I dont even use internet explorer I use firefox. I’ve scanned my computer like 5 times already and it finds no viruses, spyware or maleware or anything else. I’m starting to get annoyed by it and can’t figure out what to do.
Anyone else ever had this problem and knows how to fix it?

If all you browsers are closed and you receive a popup, you may have the messenger service enabled (control panel, administrative tools, services). This service is different than the Windows Live messenger (MSN messenger).
If the service is already off then you have an infection. Some malware/viruses/etc go after your existing security programs to make them undetectable. Perform an online scan as a precaution. Also download malwarebytes. If you are using symantec/Norton, consider changing to something else (for so many reasons)

    Download this program.

Run it and it will clean up your PC.
