I play death metal and I like to incorporate a lot of outside influences in my writing. One of my favorite bands, Atheist, has lots of jazz influence and they sound amazing. I believe it would be beneficial to my songwriting to listen and put in jazz influence, the problem is, I have no clue where to get started in Jazz.
