My computer has pop-ups even when I’m not on the internet. I have a pop-up blocker and Yahoo blocker but things keep coming and some things download without my consent.

Dump explorer and get firefox. Firefox kicks butt.

get a good antivirus program, I like either zone alarm security suite or pc-cillin internet security suite. Good Luck.

You have malware/spyware installed on your machine. Run an anti-malware/spyware program to get rid of the offending software that is causing the popups.

well first you need to go to your internet tools and go to your pop up blocker…switch it to the second to highest setting or the highest and that should eliminate most of those annoying pop ups

I had that problem once and it was spyware.

Spy Sweeper worked well for me. Cost about $20 and a few minutes but well worth it.

First if it is a mac dump it and by a pc or linex. second download firefox to it. third get spybot at werboot.com, and finaly use a better popup blocker
