I make rock/punk/metal covers of pop songs and I want to post them on YouTube. What should I do so the video won’t get banned (or have its audio disabled/changed) due to copyright reasons?
What do you think would make a good video of such songs? Slideshows are OK.
And, do I need to ask permission from the song artist or record company if I make a rock cover of a song and post it online?

I am trying to make my site, so if you click the video, a box will pop up like on newgrounds, and show the video inside of it. I don’t want people to answer how to make a regular pop up box, I want it with like the custom border, like on newgrounds. Thanks to those who help

i tried to pop non-microwavable popcorn in my microwave but all i achieved was fire. i know orvil redenbocker, act II, pop secret ect.. have thier secret methods but i can’t be the only person in the world to try to make his/her own popcorn in the microwave. there has to be someone other than the popcorn tycoons who knows how to pop non-microwavable popcorn in the microwave. should i soak the popcorn before trying to pop it in the microwave? or should i try to pop it in intervals? i mean should i try poping it in short periods of time and let it settle before trying to continue popping?
